Teradata Expands India Footprint with Third Professional Services Center in Airoli, Navi Mumbai

Teradata IndiaTeradata Corp. (NYSE: TDC), the big data analytics and marketing applications company, today announced the opening of its third Indian professional services center in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, further expanding its footprint across the country.  The new Americas Development Center (ADC) will provide services to Teradata’s customers across the Americas region.  The Airoli Center is Teradata’s third professional services center after Mumbai and Pune.

The new center will boost Teradata’s efforts to help clients tackle big data and business analytics challenges. The new center will provide analytical services along with the company’s integrated set of hardware and software offerings, including Teradata solutions for Hadoop, the Teradata Aster Discovery portfolio, as well as the Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud.

While the new facility will certainly benefit Teradata customers, it will also provide India-based IT talent the opportunity to work with global technology experts and world-renowned clientele.

At the inauguration of the new site, Robert Cromer, Vice President, ADC, Teradata, said, “We are seeing huge demand for big data services and solutions globally, particularly from companies in North America. To meet this growing demand, we have set up a new development center in India with local talent to help our customers meet their analytical needs. We will continue to strengthen our capabilities to provide high-quality professional services for data-driven businesses in the Americas region. Besides big data analytics, the new center will provide additional services capabilities on database migration and managed services segments where we are also seeing demand from our clients.”
